EVALUATION Q3 - AUDIENCE FEEDBACK ON FINAL PRODUCTS

I have used Youtube, Prezi and a focus group in order to collate my audience feedback. I found that by using a video, as well as comments and verbal feedback I could get a wide range of comments on the video and its ancillary products. Overall, the feedback was positive and confirmed that I had met the demands of the brief and also the demographic, although it is perhaps unclear who the artist is.

EVALUATION Q2 - COMBINATION OF FINAL PRODUCTS

I used PowToon to evaluate my combination of my video and ancillary products. I used the image tool to visually compare various elements of my digipak, advert & video. This definitely assisted my evaluation as I could compare whilst also annotating & commenting on their effectiveness.

EVALUATION Q1 - COMPARISON WITH CONVENTIONAL PRODUCTS

I have evaluated my use of conventions in a video format. I used iMovie to compile a comparison between my product and the conventional products that I'd researched. I also used information from my documentary in order to assist my analysis - making sure that I was able to carefully consider how I've challenged or developed real media conventions.

FINAL ADVERT

I have completed my advert for my artist. The incorporation of the orange/yellow text makes a cohesive package with my digipak, which also takes on the same typography. Hence, creating audience appeal by making an immersive package which display key style motifs that are present in the video, digipak and advert. I have also included quotes from famous feminist icons as well as online download promotions - to appeal to a contemporary 'reformer' audience.

FINAL MUSIC VIDEO PRODUCTION

I have uploaded my final edit of the music video onto YouTube. This is a useful platform because I can gather audience feedback from comments as well as easily share my final product. I decided to re-edit my video, making some of the framing more professional & seamless as well as using titles to introduce the two stars of my video - which is in response to my audience feedback which mentioned that it was unclear who the stars were.

PRINT ADVERT - CODES AND CONVENTIONS

I decided to produce another prezi in order to summarise my research into adverts. This allowed me to refer back to my cohesive research and ensure that I was considering my findings in light of producing my drafts and also my final product.
