FINAL MUSIC VIDEO PRODUCTION

Image
I have uploaded my final edit of the music video onto YouTube. This is a useful platform because I can gather audience feedback from comments as well as easily share my final product. I decided to re-edit my video, making some of the framing more professional & seamless as well as using titles to introduce the two stars of my video - which is in response to my audience feedback which mentioned that it was unclear who the stars were.

PRINT ADVERT - CODES AND CONVENTIONS

I decided to produce another prezi in order to summarise my research into adverts. This allowed me to refer back to my cohesive research and ensure that I was considering my findings in light of producing my drafts and also my final product.

ADVERT DRAFTS

I have annotated my advert plans to allow my ideas to progress and also to ensure that I am carefully considering how I am reinforcing or challenging the conventions of the genre.

FINAL DIGIPAK

Image
I have put together my final digipak. I decided to change the draft by incorporating more black and white imagery, which is more conventional of the visual codes and conventions in the R&B genre. I also decided to edit the album to be a collaboration album because I felt this would be a more clear representation of feminism and black feminism.

DIGIPAK FINAL DRAFT

Here is my final draft for the digipak. I have used my research and planning from my drafts in order to formulate my final idea. Also, I have considered the representation of the focal character, Grace, as well as other signifiers such as typography & colour codes. For example, black and white typography as this is convergent across the genre. Upon evaluation, I may decide to make some of the photos black and white in order to reinforce the R&B convergent themes.

DIGIPAK DRAFTS

I have used PowToon characters to formulate my original plans for my digital. I have put together three drafts of how my final digital would look, ideally. This way, I can utilise my photos in the most effective way- hence making the best final product that I can.
