I have created a document which depicts the exact costume & makeup of my characters, this is the first scene which is where the breakup takes place. This will help me to organise my cast and ensure that their costume fits the narrative. I have considered costume, makeup and the character's political stance, which will help me to analyse my representation of ethnicity.

In this prezi, I have displayed my analysis of Lauryn Hill's 'Doo Wop'. I found that this video takes on a narrative style, but again is a hybrid with integrated scenes of performance. Moreover, this is clearly a key genre characteristic. Again, the narrative of the contrast between black culture in the 70s and the 90s is very central to the production, rather than any contradicting visuals. Unconventionally, Lauryn doesn't feature much in the video herself, instead the encoded meaning is more important.
