SHOT LIST
The shot list I've created will help me to plan my shooting schedule and my filming guidelines. I have collated a wide range of shots to account for the multitude of shots that I'll need in order to make my music video fluid.
MUSIC VIDEO ANALYSIS: DOO WOP (THAT THING)
In this prezi, I have displayed my analysis of Lauryn Hill's 'Doo Wop'. I found that this video takes on a narrative style, but again is a hybrid with integrated scenes of performance. Moreover, this is clearly a key genre characteristic. Again, the narrative of the contrast between black culture in the 70s and the 90s is very central to the production, rather than any contradicting visuals. Unconventionally, Lauryn doesn't feature much in the video herself, instead the encoded meaning is more important.
